Finding and Restoring a

Single File 3

Before beginning a restore operation, save all open files and close all

running applications except the GoVault data protection software.

To find and restore a single file:

1 Type the file name, or part of the file name in the

Search all cartridges

for files

text box at the top-right corner of the GoVault data protection

software

Explore page.

Caution: Attempting to restore a file that is open can cause data loss

or corruption. Always save all open files and close all

running applications before beginning a restore operation.

Note: The text box will auto-complete when you begin typing,

and you can use the wildcard asterisk (*) character in your

search string, as you would in a standard Windows

Explorer file search operation.
