Physical Library eVPS LUN Mapping for Libraries with IOBs

Use Table 47 through Table 49 on page 56 to prepare to map LUNs for libraries that have I/O blades, such

as the Scalar i2000. The tables provide information regarding what drives are mapped to which blades on

the MS. Sample data is provided in the first two tables.

For the Partition LUN columns, specify whether the Library Partition is dedicated for DET or Application

Media. Also specify the Host LUN number associated with the Library Partition.

The Pathlight VX is sensitive to when partitions and LUNs are mapped. Refer to the discussion and

examples under Physical Library eVPS LUN Mapping for Libraries with a SNC

on page 53.
