In the event the FTP server times out, the error message Software caused
connection abort: socket write error
is displayed at the FTP client (see
figure 16
).
•FTP Client
The built-in Java FTP client timeout value is set in
Timeout (sec) in the
Configuration tab display (see figure 15). A zero entry sets the default
timeout value to 900 seconds (15 minutes).
In the event the FTP client times out, the error message
Read timed out is
displayed at the FTP client (see figure 17
).
