SNMP
Short for Simple Network Management Protocol, a set of protocols
for managing complex networks.

Take-up leader The ring at the beginning of a tape in a cartridge.
Tape drive controllers A device that controls the transfer of data from a
host to a tape drive and vice versa.
Terabyte A unit of measure for digital data equal to approximately 1,000
gigabytes, or 1,099,511,627,776 bytes!
Terminator Special electrical resistors (terminators) are installed in the
SCSI devices at each end of the SCSI bus and are not installed in other
devices on the bus. The SCSI bus must be properly terminated at both
ends so that commands and data can be transmitted to and from all
devices on the bus.

administration using a Java™-enabled browser. WebAdmin provides
system administrators the freedom to access their tape libraries from
within an Intranet, or anywhere on the World Wide Web. WebAdmin no
