Scalar 24 Installation and Operation Guide 31

12 Slide the Scalar 24 onto the rackmount hardware until it stops.

13 Attach the securing brackets on the front Scalar 24 to both sides of the rack by tightening the

thumbscrews on the securing brackets.

14 Tighten the screws on the side rails to the rack.

15 Connect the SCSI cable to the rear of your Scalar 24.

16 Connect the second SCSI cable or SCSI terminator if it is the last device on the SCSI bus.

17 Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical socket.

18 Power on the Scalar 24.
